My father was an international musician who’s talent took him all over the world, working with some of the biggest names in opera and musical theatre. He was able to take a talented singer and transform them into icons by developing their understanding of the emotional impact of their chosen song, empowering them to command centre stage.
As in life, a canvas can take many shapes. The vastness of the city or much more intimate surroundings. In each case, the homage to my fathers contribution to the arts is to transform the wearer into a captivating individual, and so allowing them to be the symbol of centre stage.
In 2014 Peter Isepp endeavoured to combine his unique art style, and a passion for luxury design and fashion, and form the brand Isepp, beautiful bespoke art scarves Made in Italy. He used his surname Isepp as the name for the brand, because it represented a continuation of a rich family heritage in the arts.
His grandfather Sebastian Isepp was an Austrian painter, who worked in the same circles as Kokoshka, Schiele and Klimt. Like him, Isepp feels nature and the physical world spiritually through colour, shape and form. His father was an accomplished classical musician, whose career was divided between London and New York during Isepp’s childhood in the 1970s and 80s, working with some of the greatest artists in the world. These glimpses of epic performance, combined with the architectural scale of these two great cities provided Isepp with a solid basis for a future in the arts, and continually influences the unique dimensionality of his work.
